一.學情分析：

本課是一個實用性較強的課，又與學生的生活經驗和認知水平緊密相連，學生對本課時的學習將會體現出濃厚的興趣。另外本課時的新單詞雖然很實用但卻較多，學生在學習及使用單詞的過程中將會產生一些障礙。在教學過程中，應注意1，單詞的讀音及is和has的區別；2，tall,short和mediumheight;thin,heavy和mediumbuild的教學應注意其相對性。最后，任務的設置應有明確的目的并具有可操作性，這樣才有利于提高實際語言的運用能力。

二.教學目標：

1.知識和能力目標：

本課時的語言目標為描述人的外貌；學會談論身高、體重、發型；圍繞語言目標，學生應掌握“Whatdoeshe/shelooklike?Whatdothey/youlooklike?Heis…Hehas…”等句型；學習并掌握“like,looklike,curly，long，medium,build”等重點詞匯。

2.過程和方法目標：

學生通過看、聽、說、寫掌握并使用描繪人的外貌的句型和詞匯。

本節課的不足之處，由于本節課的內容較簡單，所以在各個任務環節的難度梯度不是很明顯。這樣沒有為能力較強的同學提供戰線的機會，而且本單元涉及的單詞較多，學生不能完全的熟練掌握。所以在以后的教學中還應不斷的探索，尋求更大的突破。
